What if I'd like to get customized features, or selected services on my router? I don't want to buy another one, becuase I like my router. 
Is there any kind of torrent client (code) on another dlink routers and/or DLNA server service?
(such as ASUS) Is the DIR-655 B1 hardware enough powerfull to handle these?
I'd be happy if the unusable, unnecessary functions should be drop out from the code, and replace with the right code. 
4 Example: I don't need PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP codes, because my ISP has cable solution with dinamic IP,... So free up the source code, the resources, and go ahead with customization! 

(I am programmer, but without any experience, or sample code, I can not make any new solution.)
