My dlink lite 3.40 broken

Just updated to my dlink lite 3.40 on original iPad running iOS 5.1.1 and app will no longer launch. Tried un and re-installing several times, no joy. Contacted support, they said look here for help. Anybody know where I can get 3.33 as it was working well for me.

It's possible that the iOS version is out of date or would need to be updated. What version of iPad do you have?

Again, it is ios 5.1,1, on an original iPad that is now frozen as far as system updates go. At least they should have a link to 3.33 which was working well on this machine.

Have you removed the app, rebooted tge iPad, then reinstalled it? All apps on Apples store is controlled by Appke, not D-link. Apple doesnt keep prior versions of SW.

Did that several times. Dlink tech agrees the update is broken. I don't care if Apple runs the app store, dlink should be able to make the previous version available somewhere. Gotta be a lot of other people besides me that are in this situation. Had a good laugh when tech said to access Mydlink with safari. Guess they forgot java doesn't work on ios for iPad...

Guess youll need to wait then for the next release. All Apple devices are governed by Apple and all downloads go thru Apples store. if Mfrs want to develope apps for Appe devices, they have to go thru Apples store and there process. Thats how they run it. Eventually Apple will stop supporting iOS5. Then houll need to upgrade. This is now out of forum hands. Youll need to be patient and wait for the next release. Your the only one reporting it right now and maybe dur to others have ugraded there iOS.

There are numerous people reporting this problem, including me.
The iOS cannot be updated past 5.1.1 on the 3g iPodTouch.
I have a way to install the old version, but where can I get a copy?

The app was and is maintained on Apples Store servers. I presume that once D-Link comes out with a new version, Apply removes the old version from public download.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

I did submit a report, yesterday, via email and on the AppleStore link.
Guess what - TODAY (coincidence!) they issued 3.41 which works !!!
