Hello as the subject says i am having problems setting up a wi-fi connection. I set up my connection and gave it a host name on my downstairs computer, where the modum is. Now when i go upstairs and try to connect to a network, the network name doesn't show up. I have tryed a bunch of differant things, I feel like I am just missing one step. Thanks for your time.

Wireless Radio : Init failed .

You will never get a Wireless connection anywhere until you can get your Wireless radio to come on. There is another thread in the DIR-655 forum where this problem arose. The unit had to be replaced. That doesn't mean you will, but I have no idea how to kick start your Router. Someone will be along shortly to help you.

Tfrdtu, please read here. Don't hesitate to ask if there is anything you can do short of replacement. Unfortunately, the moderator in this post suggested replacement. Go to this thread and make a post. 2 wireless init failed errors for 2 different people so close together might be something D-Link is interested in learning about. Could just be the nature of man made electronics.

I just had this same problem after coming back from a vacation.  Contacted customer service, and it looks like I'll be getting another one...
