Difference between allocated size by DNS and Treesize
« on: January 02, 2015, 12:56:46 AM »

First of all : happy new year to everybody !

My problem : My DNS 320 indicates an allocated size of 913 Gb (for a 1 Tb Raid 1 disks). So I tried to find what I could delete on it and I used Tresize on W8.1. But Treesize find only 496 Gb of allocated size...
I checked of course the directory "Recycle Bin" but it is empty.

Have you an idea on where are the missing files ? is there hidden files on th e DNS ?
If the topic is already open in the forum, please let me know where.

Many thanks,

Check P2P share too (In my case, there is another share on Disk1). This is another share for me on same disk, and I think app check the share size only (Windows shows the overall size and free space).
