Will a backup continue after power schedule off time?
« on: July 22, 2015, 05:25:55 AM »

Hi, can't find the answer to this one. I have a daily Remote Backup scheduled at 5am. I have set the Power Management Schedule to turn the device off at 11am, and back on at 4:45am. That gives it 6 hours to complete the remote backup.

If the backup hasn't finished by 11am will the device stay on until the backup completes, then power down?

Thanks

I presume it would however I don't know the behavior of the code, weather or not the back up or power management takes presidence during operation. I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
