Port Forwarding in DSL 2730U ????
« on: August 15, 2015, 12:48:38 AM »

I have the Dlink DSL 2730U, and it runs on the IN_1.10 firmware.
I need to forward the 27015 port using the router but I am not able to because I cannot for the life of me seem to understand the port forwarding page.

Here's the screenshot, could someone post a small guide on how to forward the 27015 port for the Counter Strike : Source game....
Thanks

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your modem? Look at the sticker under modem.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the modems web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

I think you can select User Defined Service Name, Try select Both TCP/UDP if this option is available from the drop down menu, Enter the value in for WAN and LAN Open port numbers that are needed, then input the IP address of the devices that are you opening ports for. Select Add. I recommend Reserving an IP address for this device so the IP address remains constant for this one device. I'm not sure about WAN Setting and WAN Interface settings though. You might refer to the user manual to see if there is any info there...
