E-mail works fine for me.

But every time the IR light switches I get a PIR event. It would be great if the camera could filter PIR events that are caused by IR light changes. Right now I have decided to keep the IR light off at all time to avoid these self-induced PIR events. Obviously that is not a good solution.

Might check the events or email settings to see if there is any think that can be configured not to sent events for PIR. I know I don't get any events for PIR on my 933L however I don't have email enabled.

I use the PIR function. It has the right sensitivity and accuracy. Aside from generating false events when the camera switches IR on and off (due to changes in ambient light), I never get false PIR events. Thus, fixing this problem would make the camera almost perfect.

BTW, the problem only exist on the A model. I also have the B model and that one does not have the problem.

New FW available. Propably email bug introduced in previous release is now fixed with these ones:

Problems fixed:
6.Fixed Curl issue -mail server SMTP authentication fail.
7.Fixed Curl-SMTP -the "new mail client" in all cameras with "event management" is not RFC 2821 conform issue.
8.Fixed Curl-SMTP-Mail/SAMBA password bug in test mode fail.
31.Fixed bug of "Test the Email server was added by motion detection setup wizard is error."

Release above including 32 fixes, that's pretty much. Let's hope that there is no regression (new problems).
