For those who have children, you'll be able to relate.
I have a child and I use SecureSpot as a supplement for protecting him on the internet. Yes, his computer is in the living room in plain site. He utilizes the internet for the library, on-line educational sites, kids games, etc... but kids will be kids, they're curious and Google auto corrects phonetic spellings.
If he tries to search for something inappropriate, it's blocked and I'm notified via text message.
Of my four computers in my house, my son's is the only one affected by any noticeable speed decrease, which isn't all that noticeable... why? Because, his computer is the only one that is being filtered by BSecure. The other computers are password protected so he can't log into them.
For those of you who don't want it... disable it and forget about it. It's that simple.
