Hi all!
Almost all major browsers are deprecating NPAPI based plug-ins, and Java is one of this. Java applets are a core component for many D-Link cloud cams, including DCS-932L. Is there any plan to handle this situation in the foreseeable future (maybe with a firmware upgrade)?
The current DCS-932L browser compatibly list is:

- Microsoft Edge [

- Opera [
PARTIALLY SUPPORTED]: works only on Windows, but in the near future the support will be dropped
- Mozilla Firefox [
PARTIALLY SUPPORTED]: by the end of next year, support will be dropped on all platforms: https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2015/10/08/npapi-plugins-in-firefox/
- Internet Explorer [
SUPPORTED]: but in the next future, the browser itself will be abandoned
Even Oracle recommends to move away from Java applets: https://blogs.oracle.com/java-platform-group/entry/npapi_plugin_perspectives_and_the
I'm evaluating to buy another couple of these cams, but I want them to last a bit more than a couple of years ...
