I've been troubleshooting a problem since a firmware upgrade.  What I found is that if a Wi-Fi connection to a 5010L is down for more than 2 minutes, the camera won't auto-reconnect later (unless it's power-cycled or connected to Ethernet).
This occurs with firmware 1.11.08 and 1.12.03.  Rolling back to firmware 1.10.07 restores proper functionality.  I have 5 5010Ls, all HW version A1.  I can easily recreate the problem by connecting a camera via Wi-Fi, disabling the Wi-Fi signal and just watching the clock for about two minutes.  The blue and green LEDs on the camera will start to flash.  Once that happens I can restore the Wi-Fi signal but the camera will not auto re-connect to that signal.  Power cycling the camera restores normal operation.  ( Or, if I attach and connect with an Ethernet cable, (without doing any power cycling) then detach the Ethernet cable, normal WiFi will resume.)  I have most of my 5010Ls connected with cat 5 and I see no problems with 1.11/1.12 firmware there.  I noticed the Wi-Fi problem (the day after upgrading firmware) because I have a nightly reboot device attached to my router and the router stays off for three minutes before power is restored. I may change the power-off period to only one minute...)
I also have three 5020L A1 cameras.  The only issue I see with firmware 1.11 and 1.12 on them is with the RED power LED.  If they lose a WIFI connection for more two minutes, the RED LED comes on and flashes once per second.  The flashing continues even after the camera reconnects to Wi-Fi.  Power cycling or connection to Ethernet restores normal functionality (the RED LED goes dark).  I want all LEDs off during normal operation so the RED LED would be an annoyance (not a show-stopper).  However, I connect all 5020Ls with cat5 and the flashing RED LED problem does not occur there.
I post this here just to let others know what I found.  I reported the 5010L problem to Dlink via email.
