Camera came with v1.20.
set up fine in Windows 10, ie11.
connected to dnr-202l.

Moved camera to install location, and windows 10/ie 11 starts blocking the active x /cab install or whatever because the cert expired in 2015 fall or something.

Fine. Upgrade to 1.24 and can't get in at all.

403 forbidden  your client does not have permission to get URL / from this server.

Had anyone run 1.24 successfully?  It's been out almost a year.  I even tried a browser I had not used to log in with and it still have the same message.


Going to try 1.23.

Very frustrating as usual.

Update.

Preformed factory reset.
Got red light.
Moved camera back to router and wired ethernet.
Logged in with admin/no password.
V1.24 loaded still.
Set wireless up again.
Moved camera back.
everything working again with v1.24.

As usual I spoke to soon with dlink.

IE kicked me out again with 403 forbidden.

V1.24 f/w is junk and it's been out a year.

Definitely going to 1.22.

What happens if you use FF and v1.24? 

Also are you inputting the IP address of the camera into IEs trusted sites?

V1.22 so far stable no 403 yet,  and back in dnr 202l.

Might give that a try at some point. And try FF and see how it works with the camera.

Yeah, I stayed on 1.22 and delivered the camera with that f/w.
