As my comment above states, all cameras are configured identically.

This INCLUDES uPnP.  I am not kidding when I say the only difference is the IP address.  These cameras were all purchased at the same time, are the same hardware version, same firmware, etc.

There is two different uPnP features, uPnP and (uPnP Port Forwarding). Is uPnP Port Forwarding enabled on these cameras?

I have this same dropping issue with 4 DCS-5222 Rev B cameras in three locations.  Some are Ethernet-wired, some are Wi-Fi; some have static IP addresses; some do not.  The cameras are not offline from the point of view of the LANs they are on--they all ping just fine.  I can then go into the setup pages for the cameras and do a remote reboot--then are again accessible through the D-Link apps.  Although this issue appears annoyingly often--sometimes daily--it did not appear before the latest firmware updates.  I have no clue if this is a cause-and-effect relationship with the latest firmware or not.  I may try an earlier firmware version and see if that addresses the issue.  Since this is happening across so many D-Link cameras based upon the postings above, in so many different configuration environments, could this be a D-Link/D-Link app issue that needs to be addressed?  I would greatly appreciate guidance from D-Link.

Yes, per the request, both were enabled.

Definitely keep us posted. I'm into day 2 now with all cameras remaining available through myDlink. This is a record as of late. Hopefully this keeps up.

Well, an exercise in futility for sure.  I tried several older versions of the firmware and none of them would allow the cameras to show up in MyDlink at all.  I had to settle for one version back, 1.13.  The issue still existed at this firmware, but wasn't as bad as 1.14, so I'm sitting on it now.  24 hours on the new (old) firmware and all cameras are online.  It's only a matter of time until they start dropping off.

For anyone interested, I stumbled on a third party firmware (OpenWRT) that will work on D-Link cameras.  When I have some more time, I plan on migrating to this solution and getting completely away from D-Link's lousy cloud-based system that has a horrible reliability rate.  I will report back after the migration and let you know how things are working.  For now, I will deal with the occasional reboots that D-Link calls the "solution" to their problems.

Let us know how v1.13 works for you and when and if you see the disappearance from the MDL service while using v1.13.

My 933L has been online for a long time and only goes down if there is a service issue or if I'm doing something on the home network. Comes online automatically.

My settings were similar.  Every time my cameras drop off, they NEVER come back automatically.  Each one had to be rebooted from the web interface or power-cycled.  This has always been the case with these.

Sounds like there is a bug in FW. There was a reported problem with my 933L that the camera would not re-associate with any router wifi SSID name after a period of being disconnected.

Are your cameras connected to the main host routers SSID when you notice they are disconnected from the MDL service or not connected?

Definitely not the issue here.  Each camera is still connected to the SSID because I can ping each one and login to each one's web interface via its IP.

Would you take not on the next event when any of the cameras are disconnected from the MDL service to see if they are still associated with the main host routers SSID name. Try to connect to one of them at there web page on the LAN side.

I presume if they are then something is causing them to disconnect from the service and not re-establishing contact.
One test to try if you can. Turn off ALL but 1 camera. Leave this camera running and see if it disconnects in the same time frame. Need to see if this could be a single camera issue or multiple.

Am I missing something here?  Yes, every time it disconnects from MDL service, it is still connected to the main router SSID.  Rather than walking around and unplugging each one, I typically go to the camera IP --> Maintenance --> Reboot.  After this, it reappears in MDL.

How long would you say the time frame of up time is before they are disconnected from the service?
Can you try using just one camera and let us know if it disconnects or not.
