Thank you for the feed back and confirming this. I see this issue as well and have reported it to D-Link. Please be patient.

Wanted to take a moment to update my testing of the beta firmware. I tried formatting the SD card and rebooting. Did not help. I also set the sensitivity to 80%, as recommended by others. Did not help. Even though the false detection have been substantially reduced, the camera still does not record actual motion. I have noticed that it always detects motion\records when the camera switches to and from night vision. I am really beginning to wonder if D-Link does any of their own testing or if they are leaving that us to us?

Hopefully, this will be fixed soon, since the false alarm triggering has been a problem since the camera came out.

@rvgantt  You said you reformatted your sd card and rebooted...rebooting is what breaks the recording. Format SD card after a reboot then it will record motion. This is the exact scenario that I had on two cameras and they record fine now. If you reboot at a later time you will have to reformat your SD card again for it to work.

You shouldn't have to reformat your SD card after a reboot (power cycle).

I know with this beta firmware, once you update the firmware you have to reformat the SD card. But after a simple reboot it should not affect the SD card.

Furry, is this happening with your 936L?

I don't have SD card in mine or i'd test this out. Sorry. 

There a recommended SD card that I can get for it? I'll check out out...

I am testing mine now. I have a Kingston 32GB card. No need to get a card if you aren't using it. D-Link techs will test it too.

I tested my 936L and recording worked without issues after pulling the power (reboot).

Just curious, is motion detection working for you Sir?

It works as stated by other users in this thread.    It definitely works better in a room vs pointing outside a window.  I have to set it to at least 90% sensitivity to detect any kind of motion. BUT I don't get 2-5 false notifications every hour.

Ok, I'll reconfigure mine for 90% and test. I haven't seen any notifications since loading this update...
