I have recently purchased my fifth

DNS-321 unit. All of these units are for my personal use and have been performing very well

. However...
Each of the units, all new when purchased, have had the same defect, that being the supplied network patch cable. Everyone of the cables supplied by D-Link have been intermittent in their operation. I have to "wiggle" the cables to make them work.
From my analysis, the RJ-45 ends are not crimped on tight enough and the wires make intermittent contact. I have monitored the connectivity light on my switch to verify it was the fault of the cable. Once I change out the cable to a non-supplied D-Link cable, the problem goes away.
While I know the cost of a new cable is not high, I do find this very annoying, especially with the fifth unit.

I was wondering if I am the only one experiencing this issue or if others have found it as well. Also, if D-Link is aware of it, what is being done to resolve it for future users (to include myseld) and previous users (to include myself).

Thanks for a great product!
