can't get connection from dlink gdwl-g510 wireless card
« on: August 09, 2009, 09:26:05 AM »

I have two ethernet connections working and one laptop connected as wireless. I'm trying to connect another desktop through a slightly older wireless card. I get to the point where is asks for my WEP2 network key which I enter. The dlink wizard (on my additional desktop) says it should be connected but it isn't. Is there a security setting i need to disable to add a new device then re-enable.  I had a similar problem trying to switch the laptop to a linksys n card. I figured it was a linksys incompatability but now i have a dlink product that says it should be working.
