dgl-4500 with 2 xbox 360's and 5 computers working perfectly
« on: August 13, 2009, 08:45:23 AM »

I purchased a DGL-4500 about 6 months ago and updated to latest firmware and had problems galore. Tried to revert back to factory defaults and never got it working. I returned it and kept factory firmware 1.02 on the 2nd one, enabled gamefuel and disabled dynamic defragmentation. Xbox live works well for 2 Live accounts simultaneously( I'm usually the host) while my other kids dowload and play games online with my other computer. Keep it simple KISS stupid. And no I don't work for D-link :D :D :D

You do realize we all KNOW 1.02 works reasonably well?  Not all of us have the option of returning a 1.20+ firmware router to the store.

lol, Man have you read these forums at all? if we had known that none of us would have ever left 1.02, anything after it never worked well, unfortunately once you move on you cant go back, and like the previous answer your post stated most of us are past the 30 day return policy that most stores offer, so if we send it back to Dlink we definitely dont get an A1 or an A2 with 1.02 on it.
