Does the game suggest on certain ports needing to be open?

No, but I did use Gamefuel to open them automatically...

with do respect do you have every device listed running at once on your network if so thats a good problem starter, you need to give the defualt pc used for wow a static ip which should be done with in the router then you need to do prot forwards for that pc's staic ip for wow hopefully that helps, also if you can plug into a lan wireless packet lose is horrible and probly isn't helping you any.

I understand part of that..a lot to take in.  Everything is not running at once..actually when Im playing WoW nothing is going except my laptop. For whatever reason, I can play on my laptop (although my latency is still a little high...I usually get d/c once or twice..which is NOT good) but I cant even TRY to play on the desktop which is about 10 feet away in the very next room.

I have Gamefuel running and the WoW ports open so if you can give me a little more detail I would appreciate it  ;)
