Most of the other active wireless adapters have got 10.15 drivers. Not sure why this one hasn't yet but I assume they are being worked on. I will message the product manager and see.
As far as connectivity issues I have seen connectivity issues with this adapter on Mac as well as Windows 10. I have it on windows 10 without any issues. I have a Plex server on that machine and never had a drop while streaming or copying files.
It is hard to know if it is a OS issue, USB port (power setting) issue, or adapter (driver or hardware) issue. Could be a negotiation issue with the adapter and wireless router/AP where it hangs for a minute, or connection issue with the USB port (power or data issue). I have seen a couple people replace the USB cable with 3rd party and seemed to fix it. Maybe there is a power hiccup causing it to drop connectivity.
