Please have this router addressed with wireless restart issue!
« on: September 30, 2009, 08:51:52 PM »

Dear Dlink,

I am in the mood to shout at anyone that are standing in my face right now. My router's wireless dies out very often and it occur almost everyday. This is driving me crazy and mad due to hang-on when admitting my assignments to my professor.

I have follow many suggestion that are made by various members of this forum and these member are skilled in all levels. I take their words for it. I have tried dns-relay disable, wish disable, updated my wirelesses driver, position the antennas as well as position the router, enable auto-channel or disable the auto-channel with using 11-7, 8-4, 6-2 etc in auto. However, the router still dies out very often. Please address this as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

There's one more thing you can try is to disable wireless-n and only use wireless b+g or g only. I read on this forum at least there're two ppl that did this and it works for them. You can complete your assignment on time at the least. For me, when I did my under-grad thesis the mainboard died. Fortunately I got a temporary main from the shop. It was ok enough for me to work through it. And now I'm on the professor side lol. Hang in there, man.

I know the feeling bud.  According to the log, I've had... count them... 19 spontaneous wireless restarts in the past 24 hours.  Tried everything you have and more.  Changing yet another channel now to see if I can clean them up abit.
