Huawei E1550
« on: October 08, 2009, 03:01:33 PM »

Hello!

Does anybody know if 3G Usb Modem Huawei E1550 is supported by DIR-825?? I got it today from Three Mobile (UK) but I'm not able to make it work. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or this stick is not just sopported by the router.

It should be perfect if there was a place where find the list of all supported 3G Usb Modems!!!

P.S. I'm using firmware 2.01EU

Hello?? I don't understand how it's possible D-link sells product with features that seem to be fake or at least that aren't documented well enough!

I just need a compatibility list for 3G sticks just to know it keep this DIR-825 or give it back.

This forum is build and moderated by D-Link North America and NA devices don't support the 3G function.
Only EU and WW firmwares have 3G activated so perhaps you may ask D-Link UK support directly for a list.

(Even if the new european support portal is pure s****, you should be able to reach them through)

Edit: OOOps, think I tried the wrong word to describe the quality of the new portal  ;D

Yeah You are right! I tried to use that portal and.... no words!!!

I called this morning the european support call center and they told me that the actual 3g support is ONLY for the Huawei E220...

My router is going back.
