NFS setup
« on: October 16, 2009, 10:35:22 AM »

Trying to enable NFS on the 321.  I have been unable to figure out what a valid entry for Host would be.  I keep getting "Not a valid host" error message.

Can you give some examples of what you are entering? Valid Host should be an IP on your network like 192.168.0.100 or something like your entire network, 192.168.0.0/24

I have enabled NFS share. I have a static IP for the DNS 323.

I used host : 192.168.1.0/24

And used the browse option to choose Volume_1/Data (Data is a folder I created to be shared)

However I am unable to see any NFS shared on my network. I used the command below, but share list is none.

Code: [Select]
showmount -e 192.168.1.65
