Either wireless or by ethernet . Is it possibly dead but the lights still are all on

I plugged the modem directly to my Imac it works fine so it is not Comcast

Thanks for any help I do not want to go buy another if it is something simple I am not seeing

Before doing anything rash like throwing it away, I would check the AC adaptor. Just put your hand on it to see if it is getting overly warm while plugged in. It shouldn't be very warm at all. I'm assuming you should be able to get one of those from D-Link if it is in fact the adaptor. It ought to be cheaper as well.

My gosh, I hope mine lasts longer than a year.
