Hi people,

As I just bought a DNS-323 storage unit, I installed it and all...Well, I've booted my DIR-655 directly from the unit because I wanted to refresh the hole network and since then I've been having problems.

As I changed the settings in virtual server and port forwarding, as soon as the router would reboot the settings would disapear (and go back to old settings that I don't want or want to change).

Now, I'm guessing that it's a bad flash. So I was going to put a clean FW of 1.22 but it's not on D-Links website or ftp anymore.

When I got the unit, I had problems of the router rebooting all the time. When I set up 1.22 the problem was fixed. I'm just wondering if it's a good idea to get 1.32 now.

Is there a reason why 1.22 isn't available anymore? This kind of forces me to get 1.32...Wich I don't know much about. If I go to 1.32, can I downgrade after? Is it on warranty with Dlink?

Hi.

Do not upgrade to FW 1.32NA. Lot of peoples have some issues with that FW.
Use FW 1.21, that's was the last one i had before i did the worst thing, upgraded to v.1.32NA... I have big problems now.
And no, u can't  downgrade from v.1.32 :(

What about 1.22...It was going fine for me.

Why have they kicked it off the map?

Yes.. it's seems to me they had some problems with that one too, since is not more available in the download, the same should they do with FW 1.32NA..

Sorry i can't help you about this FW 1.22.

But please do not upgrade to 1.32NA... if you see in this topic lot of other have problems.
So maybe just wait until they have released an stable version like 1.22.

No worries, not interested in going into the 1.3x grounds.

I found 1.22 else where on the Dlink forum, but...I think I'll try the 1.21.

Wow, that was weird...

I downgraded it and still had my old problems; my virtual server and port forwarding settings were still the same EVEN AFTER CHANGING FW!!

I had to flash it twice, then it seemed to be a clean install of 1.21 that would save the right settings.

Thanks! Will stay on 1.21
