Ubuntu: DWA-160 + DIR-655 only connecting with 802.11g
« on: October 31, 2009, 12:22:00 PM »

Hi there,

I got my DIR-655 running and my desktop connected with the DWA-160 under Ubuntu Linux Jaunty. Everything's fine and working. But wait! As my router config is telling me, the DWA-160 is connecting via 802.11g (i.e. 54 MBit). I followed the sticky note in the forum (AES, 20/40 auto) but this didnt help.

Code: [Select]
lsusb:
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 07d1:3c11 D-Link System

Does anybody know how to force the adapter to connect via Draft-N? Possibly it is a driver issue.

Thanks for help.

Christian.
