OK, I just hooked up my new DIR-655 and it works perfectly when it is connected directly to my modem. The problem starts when I hook up the VoIP adapter. The adapter is an InnoMedia MTA 6328-2Re. The cable modem plugs into the WAN port on the VoIP adapter and then a cable is run from the LAN port on the adapter to the Internet port on the DIR-655. When this is done there is no IP address assigned to the WAN for the router, leaving me with no internet access if I want to use my VoIP phone (which is the only phone for the house). I assume I need to configure this adapter to play nicely with the router? If this is true, or you have knowledge of why this could be happening, then I would love and appreciate any and all help pertaining to the issue!
