Title: Unable to connect to USB hard drive

SharePort 4.20; DIR-655 fw 1.37; Samsung USB external hard drive...

I canīt connect the HD... always get failed connection message... any clue? Thx

What size is the HDD? 500Gb is officially supported.
What format is the HDD? It should be NTFS

Some say using older versions of SP helps, like v1.xx

01 Tb, NTFS... I already connected this HD some time ago... strange...

Try an older version of SP..what you may have had before. Was the FW recently updated? What version was the driving working on before you updated?

have you installed the chipset drivers and all the other drivers for the motherboard?

I don't think chipset drivers on the PCs Motherboard would effect any thing when users are connecting USB devices to the routers USB port.  ::)

have you installed the chipset drivers and all the other drivers for the motherboard?
