Good Luck. This will me marked a user configuration issue and not a router issue.

As for the next "Tech Upgrade" as you put it, heres the next "Tech Upgrade" from DLink:

I think that Dlink is moving away from OLED's being on routers.

Do you care for the new line at all? I ave been thinking about changing  my 825 into an AP and getting a newer router. If it is converted to an AP can it do wireless and utilize the lan ports?

I like them. I think there ok and nothing really spectacular. I'm currently running the DIR-657 as of yesterday again. I do enjoy the 825 though. Seems very zippy as a host router. Eventually I'll go back to it I think. I haven't had a chance to experience the 827 or 645 as of yet. Been testing the 655 too. Pretty good.
