I cannot access the NAS in any way. Sometimes my computers see it, sometimes they don't, but none of them can access it, regardless. I have two Sonicview media streaming boxes that cannot utilize the NAS, either. Sometimes they can see content on the NAS, but only through the PNP, not as a directory. The computers cannot access anything. I cannot even access the NAS through a browser using the default IP. I have shut down everything by disconnecting power to my routers, computers and the NAS and restarted and this does not work. I have taken the drives out and put them back in.
All I get is the power light blinking, left drive light blinking and sometimes the network light blinking, but it does not work. I get no amber lights.
What options do I have? Can I reset the unit without accessing it through a browser? I don't know what firmware version I am on, as I cannot access the unit, but I am sure it is the latest.
If I do reset the box, will it still read my drives? I am running two 2TB drives in mirrored mode.
If I get a newer enclosure, can I simply put these drives in and they will run, will by data be lost, or do I have some preparation do to for another enclosure or device to get access the data on the drives?
Please help! I have EVERYTHING on these drives...
