I wood like see more support four IPv6.
Supports up to 12K Jumbo Frames.
Bandwidth Management: Allow multiple network activities (FTP, Game, P2P…) to work smoothly at the same time.
Device discovery.
Save/restore configuration files.
Intrusion detection including logging.
Logging: Dropped packet, security event, Syslog.
Filtering: Port, IP packet, URL Keyword, MAC address.

Err...I think you meant to post this in the suggestion area.  In fact, some of your suggestions are ALREADY in the router.  But, some of the stuff you are asking for do NOT belong in a gaming/home class router, but more so an enterprise.

In fact, this router has absolutely NO support for IPv6.  And Jumbo frames do not work too well on home devices.  Doesn't make much sense to use it unless it's a huge building with multiple levels and you need to distribute information quickly and efficiently.  Even Lycan has said it...Jumbo frames won't make a difference.

Bandwidth management is already there...it's called QoS.  I don't have any problems gaming and using FTP or P2P at all.

Device discovery is there too...it's called UPnP.  ;)

Those last suggestions you made, even the saving of config files is ALL here too...even the ones below that!

But again, it's an enterprise class device you are looking at more-so, than the DGL routers.

Amen, Reinvented.  I bought this router because I had several years of trusted service from my DGL-4300 - and I still love some of the advanced features it has.

I send hourly reports to DShield.org from my syslogs using Kiwi Syslogd and the DShield client from my main machine, running Windows 7 (and using a Task Scheduler item to automate the process) and could not be happier - all intrusion attempts are not only logged and filed away for the last 3 years but *also* reported to DShield for IP and port analysis.

But, since I have only had my router for 2 months, and have been using nothing but the 1.15 firmware since I bought it and updated the FW, I haven't had a chance to check out the 1.16b3.  TBH, I don't use wireless very much (although with the laptop also running W7 now it is a lot more fun as it has Wireless N Draft 2 native) but whenever I have it has seemed to be rock solid.  I don't game much online either, but looking at my stats I see 0 dropped packets since I last reset about 3 weeks ago....

Is it worthwhile for me to even bother with the 1.6b3 at all?  I know I posted before that I would, but a lot of things came up in between....

The Firmware works well for me so far, although, I hope to see a final release soon.

Lycan, when is this garbage going to be fixed?  No matter what, Battle.net games disconnect like crazy.  My connection is fine.  Router firmware is the problem..

Endpoint independent does nothing really.  Doesn't even help the problem.  Fix this!

I think they must be running gunshy after the 1.10 debacle and the rush to fix it.  1.15 and the 1.16 beta are usable despite the sticky problems.  Hopefullly they are trying to get 1.16 right before they it.  I just hope it happens before I die...
