After that, Maybe someone can review your router settings with you using Link> teamviewer if your interested. Its safe and secure.
What setting do you even remotely expect to handle http vs https? Can you create a rule on your router to block access to outbound https/port 443?
If you can, I guarantee I do not have a rule like that as I have not touched any of the virtual server, port forwarding, app rules, qos, any of the filters, access control, or routing under advanced. These are all factory defaults.
I dug up an old linksys 54g and that works fine, plug directly into the CM and that also works fine, plug the 655 back into the mix and it fails. I'm going to be getting the run around from the ISP if they know it works with everything _but_ this router.
I've also be using this router for years bridged to my original router w/o wifi and never had issue until recently. Starting to think this is a dud because I see no setting that would let you block https/443 outbound to a site while allowing standard http/80 going through.
I'm going to try another router in the meantime and see if I get blocked from https, afterall this router worked for the past few days and only choked today. Need to start weeding out possibilities
