maybe some interferences causing it to kick down to B mode or the router is reporting the connection incorrectly.

Can you move the router or PC farther away from each other to test? Say 10-15 feet and see?

Ensure your wireless drivers on the PC are up to day and that the properties of that wireless adapter are configured to allow for N modes. I've seen some drivers default to B mode only or G and not allowing N mode. Refer to the Mfr support site for information for your wireless adapter for that.

My Killer Networks Manager says this:

So it might be my router forcing my connection down to 11b?

What happens if you test with single mode G then single mode N?

single mode g: also 11b

single mode n: 11n with rather low Mbps for that standard.

I tried to setup my DIR-615, but I can't connect via LAN or WLAN, so I went back to the DIR645

Try setting channel width from 20 to auto 20/40mhz. Then turn off HT20/40 coexisitence under advanced/advanced wireless and use single mode N and test...
