I recommend that you use IE or FF. Download the v2.11 FW file and unpack it.
Turn off ALL devices accept for 1 wired LAN PC.
Do 1 factory reset from the routers web page.
Skip the set up wizard and go directly to the FW update section. Load the .bin file and let it process and come back to ready.
Do 1 more factory reset from the routers web page.
Set up the router from scratch. Test with the 1 wired PC for downloads and such.
Turn on 1 more device and check internet.
Do another download on the wired PC and see if the 2nd device is still connected.
- Any other WiFi routers in the area? Link> Use InSSIDer to find out. How many?
3rd Party Security Software Configurations- Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
- Turn off all devices accept for one wired LAN PC while testing.
- Disable any downloading client software managers, i.e. Torrents or similar.
