You do know that the DNS-320L is not a video player don't you. All the DNS-320L does is store the video from the camera, you have to have a player on your PC (example VLC) to actually play the videos or run the camera video to directly view the camera output.
You didn't understand my question.
I know how DNS-320L works. Don't reply with basics.
Let me repeat.
I've configured DCS-960L with DNS-320L but I'm not able to configure DCS-5030L with DNS-320L.
So let me elaborate, when I login to mysurveillance in DNS-320L setup page using IP address then search for camera and none of the cameras are detected and then I added manually both cameras (DCS-960L and DCS-5030L). So after that when I went to live video (as you know there are two main sections, live video and playback) there I can see only DCS-960L and DCS-5030L says connecting, and when I go to status I see there "camera disconnected" for DCS-5030L. So I can't store videos or play live stream of DCS-5030L on DNS-320L. And for DCS-960L both live streaming and playback work fine using mysurveillance.
I know there is compatibility issue and I'm using latest firmware on DNS-320L (1.07) and for DCS-5030L I can only see default firmware(1.00.36) on sg.mydlink.com.
I wanted to know if there is any update regarding DCS-5030L compatibility with DNS-320L.
[I'm not end user].
