Well, I know how to (at least the basics of) setting-up a home wireless connection - I've done DD-WRT on a Linksys router to extend my wireless range but that's about it.
I was hoping of getting better reception around the house with this router and lose the extender altogether
from my previous Netgear WG102 (main) - mainly because a greater percentage of the devices at home have wireless N capabilities - there are still G devices though.
I've done around a couple of hours of googling on what to do and finally got fed up so here I am.

What Hardware version is your router?

it's in bridge modeIf this modem has a built in router, it's best to bridge the modem. Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems.
Ensure DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual?
Yes it is.Turn off QoS options.
DoneTurn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option under Setup/Internet/Manual.
DoneTurn on DNS Relay under Setup/Networking.
DoneSetup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices on the router.
I'm not sure how to do thisEnsure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
