Bridging means to use the modem as a pass thru only and let the 655 handle the PPPoE DSL connection.

Could have worked well or just been hiding until something either with the router, modem or ISP service changed. DNS is handled at the ISP and ISP modem level currently for you since your modem already has a built in router. It would be best to see if you can get the ISP to help you bridge the ISP Modem. If they cannot or not willing to, see if the modem has a DMZ and input that 192.168.7.2 address into the modems DMZ.

ISPs are known for changing things on there networks with out any notice. Why we try to help users here trouble shoot as far up the ISP chain as we can so we can help resolve some issues there. Everyone looks at the router as always being the problem when most of the problems are at the ISP level or mis-configurations or environment caused, and usually not the routers fault.

I was trying to bride the modem from the web http://www.speedtouch.ca/bridgemode.php, but it failed at the final step.
I set up a username and password, and use it for the final step, but it kept asking me to type the username and password, and it ends up everything got stuck. Then I make the modem Return to Factory Default Settings, I don't know what is the rationale behind that, but everything starts working fine now. I can open the websites that I could not open recently.

Thanks for all your help today.  ;)

bride=bridge?
Maybe the modem just needed to be reset.

I would ask the ISP if you encounter this again to have them help you get the modem properly "Bridged". Its preferred to use this method.
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8 or 9, set compatibility mode and test again.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

Enjoy.
