Yeah it's awesome. Pretty soon this device will work officially.
What's not awesome is the propaganda of support. Don't be gullible like me and do PHONE CONTACT even after the issue is somewhat resolved.

We only recommend using phone contact for more immediate help, support and information. We've experienced some level of user dissatisfaction with using email support. Some email support may take longer than what users may need as well. Thus we as forum users, recommend phone support. Each D-Link region handles there own policies and ways of handling support. Thus each region has different methods and possible fees that maybe incurred. Some regions have limited free support after you buy a new product and some may have a fee. We don't keep this information here in the forums. Users are encouraged to check there perspective regional support sites for information regarding this before contacting D-Link support. Users need to determine and are encouraged to use phone or electronic support that best fits there needs. Again, we are here in the forums to help users out as much as possible to maybe help prevent contacting D-Link support as an alternative. If and when all help has been exhausted, or identified problems that can't be fixed here in the forums, will we commend taking the next step in contacting D-Link support, either via phone or email.

Glad we could be of help here.

Enjoy.
 ;)

Because the issue was found to be not forum fixable sir. They are not calling me, they are calling D-Link official support.

Also when contacting D-Link support, using phone support is probably requires phone contacting like when in need RMA support or to talk with someone in person. Again, it's up to the user to use either method. There is no propaganda agenda here. I personally will use phone support for any of my needs. I just like talking to someone directly and getting immediate feed back rather that waiting for email response.

Well, OK then  ;)
You have a point in that phone support is faster than email/web support, but phone contact costs money in my region and probably all other regions as well.
My thought was that you had confirmed that v1.04 is most likely buggy in my region, and that you upped the issue through the right channels. Meaning I wouldn't need to phone support.
When I talked to Per he mentioned that D-Link USA and D-Link EU are not same thing. Did he mean support/device hardware differences or are the two different companies? With different owners?
This device in question is identical in hardware and software in both regions? Yes?
Well, anyways, sorry for the... you know  :) I want to believe you.

Like I said before, with in D-Link company from what I know, each region handles products and support differently. This is also due to each regions different governments laws and rules which differ from country to country and are not the same. Our WiFi rules differ from your regions rules. So yes, the HW maybe the same however FW will be different. I don't have specifics on what HW maybe different as that is IP of D-Link and not made public. They carry that information. Again, each region does something different due to many factors that I don't have all the info on. It's just that way.

If you don't believe me then you can always contact D-Link and ask them. I think you already have this information though.  ::)

I would like to add that this forum is designed primarily for United States support, but we do our best to offer support to members who live in other regions around the globe, including those with D-Link products not sold in the United States. As a blanket statement we usually encourage members to use the toll free technical support number for issue escalation, as the vast majority of members on this site live in North America.

Here's a statement I have posted in our FAQ section

While posting issues in this forum is a great means of sharing information with other members and notifying D-Link of issues, D-Link escalates issues for resolution based on the volume of calls received through the official D-Link support desk. If D-Link receives a large number of calls pertaining to the same issue, that issue is more likely to be escalated as a problem for investigation and resolution. As such, in addition to posting issues in this forum, forum members are encouraged to call the toll free D-Link support desk to report their issue: 1-888-851-6464.
