I would like to connect a phone for a remote worker. I have a gateway to gateway VPN running, I have taken a phone that I configured on the local network and plugged into the remote network but the base unit does not seem to be able to find it, I can ping it form the local network. I have also enabled VPN on the base unit. When I check the phone through administrator it says that the has changed and cant find the new ip and might need to enter the ip manually. Have I missed somthing? can i configure the ip manually
