Windows 7 Incomplete menus
« on: January 01, 2010, 03:49:22 PM »

Just bought the DSM-750 for Christmas and am running the latest firmware ver 1.02.09. Media Center 7 is totally up to date at version 6.1.7600.16385

Netflix does not appear next to the Movie Library, neither does internet TV and other menu options included in the internet tv update provided by Microsoft.

Although the Product is listed as compatible with Windows 7, there is absolutely no information listed on your web site.

I am dissapointed :(

I have placed a service call last week and was promised a call back...which never happened.

I was informed by D-Link support yesterday that the Netflix and Internet TV functions are not supported by the Microsoft media extender.

Wow....

This unit is going back.....and so is the DGL-4500 gers lounge router I bought to get it to work...

Youd think D-Link would understand How important netflix is....

ah well....Im sure I can spend the 500 bucks on something that will work

The D-Link support rep told me that it was Microsoft's extender software that was to blame.  Not the DSM-750.  I am also extremely disappointed.  They recommended that I use PlayOn media server.  It supports Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, Amazon VOD.  I have downloaded that and it looks like it would be really cool if I could figure out how to get it to work.

Get a PS3. It can stream Netflix. Sony releases firmware upgrades. D-Link does not...

Unfortunately Microsoft does not support the Netflix function in its Media Center Extender feature.
