Wireless associated, secured/linked/IP assigned.. and repeat.
« on: January 01, 2010, 04:44:57 PM »

Weird problem. Just bought a 655 and was having tons of problems with disconnects etc;. Took the advice on the forum and disabled the extra wireless protections, changed the channel, set the channel width to 20/40 auto.

Now, it's doing the following.. over and over and over again. I'll be disconnected sometimes while it's associating/securing and linking. Not sure what's going on.

Changed my MAC to "X"

I had it set to g/n/b mode. Just set it to g/n only and turned off wireless extra protection.

Yep - I have it set to auto.

This is terrible. I've never had a router work this poorly before. I'm ready to just box it up and return it.
