Mail connection using Outlook

I have a problem using Outlook to connect to an external mail server with my DGL-4300.The firmware is version 1.7
Many months ago it was working fine, and for some reason it stopped working. I suspected that my internet provider made some changes.
Now, if I connect the PC directly to Internet by bypassing the router, it works without any problems.
I think I must open for port 25 and or 110, but I can not find out where it should be done.
