I want a UN-DELETE for my DNS-323 and NOT have to use Linux

Why can't Dlink just give a CONFIRM dialog or a UNDELETE command on the DNS-323?
I mean I don't delete things, very little, from the RAID NAS but still, it does not even have a confirm box.
Has anyone any idea "if" they will ever do this?
I got PC XP desktop&laptop, Mac laptop,2 iMac desktops and dlink DIR-655 Router.
Just a question..

Normal operation for most network connected storage.  Try sharing a folder between two Windows machines and delete a network file, then recovering it. 

Hint: It ain't gonna' happen! :D

Maybe this request should be addressed to Microsoft - or - Apple - or - the publisher of which ever operating system you are running.

RAID1 is for disk redundancy - NOT data backup - don't confuse the two.

Not really.  The networked drives are under control of the "server", which in this case is the DNS-323.  Windows can't really effectively provide recycle bin functionality on a network drive.
