I just upgrade to 1.13 and it update great was fast and kept all my setting without having to reload them. I really have not noticed any changes. I am going to try to turn dns back on and see if it is still stable. Will keep you up to date with it.

Over 14 hours with no trouble with dns enabled. I have had no lock ups and the router is running great. I have a 135Mbps and I also have a ps3 hook up via ethernet port running a 1gbps and no lag at all. I think they finally got it right.

Great news for you ramcrazy.  My problem is that I am unable to upgrade anything.  I have a rev A and it will not upgrade the firmware either manually or automatically.  I get a message stating that I have the latest update but my dlink page states i have the 1.0 version?

Does anyone know when people on Revision B1 will get any firmware upgrades? Can't do anything on iPod touch or my PS3... This is becoming annoying.

48 hours and still going strong. I just added another wireless connection today and things are running great.  If you are having trouble upgrading try resetting the router back to default setting by using the reset button. this is the best firmware except for the original.

Ever since I added the third wireless computer my wireless speed will change . It slows down alot. I have 1 computer in the same room and it is constant but the other 2 are in the room right next to the router and they change alot, again never lost internet but the speed goes extremely slow at times. both are dlink wireless cards ???

But the router still is going strong.

Well Today everything came to a stop, My router has done nothing but crash all day. >:(  I have tried resetting everything back to default settings and nothing still kept crash 3 times a hour. So finally I reloaded my settings and that lockup the router completely.  Had to do the reset button 4 times and finally it started back up. I just manually setup the router again and it has been stable for a couple of hours. Hopefully I don't get those crashes again.

I do not know what cause the crashing, My router just started to lock up.

FWIW, it's running fine for me for over a week now.  I'm not using shareport but i am using wired and a mix of G, N and B devices.

well I just found build #3 for the new firmware at first I was having Internet disconnects. Now that I reset to default setting it has been running strong. Only time will tell if it will last.

I own the Dir-825, hardware version A. When I got the item with firmware 1.01, connections dropped tremendously. I upgraded to firmware 1.11NA so as to solve the problem but this made it even worse. Connections dropped even more and other persons were complaining since they also shared the internet connection via the router. I always had to keep on physically powering off the router and plugging it back on. It got so bad that I installed an electrical switch on the plug that connected the router to an electrical outlet. So instead of pulling out the router's charger and then plugging it back on so as to reboot the router, I could now switch off the power supply.

However it has been a week and a half thus far and I have not had to reset the router. This is of course a world record for me since I had to reset this router every 2 days or so. I'm not sure if it's a fluke or what but I'll tell you what I did. I first saved the router settings to my hard drive. Then I upgraded the router's firmware to version 1.12NA. Then I upgraded to firmware version to 1.13NA right after.I then reloaded the router's settings that I saved on my hard drive. In the advanced tab of the router's webpage I went into the Qos settings. I unticked "Automatic Upload Speed" and I set the manual uplink speed to 360 kbps. My acutal uplink speed is 256 kbps but I just set the uplink a little higher to see what would be the effect. Thus far there has been no ill effect of doing such. In the end the router has not dropped connections or stopped being accessible via it's webpage.

However I don't know if things will go worse in the third week or so. I'll see and hopefully post an update.
I've given up on shareport since my main issue was the router dropping connections and being inaccessible via it's webpage.
