where are you getting this error? How are you connecting to the router? Directly from a PC to the back of the 4500? Ensure that the IP address settings for the PC are set up to automatically acquire an IP address from the router.

What FW version and date code is currently loaded? Just curious.
How do you have the wireless setup in the router?
Mode and Band?

I'm currently set up for N mode only at 2.4Ghz using WPA2 security.
I would setup a simple Wireless network name.
Use Mixed mode B/G at 2.4Ghz. Make sure your device is capable of using B and or G or N. There are some WiFi devices that are older and can only use Mode A or B.
Auto Channel Scan and Transmission Rate
WPA2 Personal with TKIP and AES and give it a simple password to connect. Also make sure ur WiFi device is able to use WPA2, some older devices can only use WPA and not WPA2.

Your wireless LT or device should connect smoothly. Open IE or ur favorite browser and check a web site. Ensure that your not using any manual Proxies.

You should be getting internet thru WiFi with no problems. Ensure ur WiFi connection is setup correctly on ur WiFi device.

Also make sure the networking is seeing the Wifi connection and not trying to use the Wired connection. Some times OSs can get confused however they should auto detect either connection.

Do you have any supported B or N devices? If not I would consider using a G mode only. Keep in mind that if you don't have any Wireless mode devices, set up the routers WiFi to support only those modes for devices you have. I would disable WISH and WiFi protected setup for right now. Go back and enable them if you need them after you get the WiFi internet going.

If your connecting, great. You should have internet on the device your connecting with. If your connecting but no internet, i presume there is an issue with the connected device not detecting the internet stream for some reason.
