Hi, Can you help out

I am in the UK and have just got a DSM 510 firmware H/w A:3 F/w ver1.06 pal

I read alot about HDMI issues and so far I have not managed to get it  to be seen by my Samsung 23inch Monitor 2333HD - Its for use in a bedroom

Should I be updating the firmware and if so to what version ?

Question 2

The following question would be nice if I could get It to work But am quite happy just using the usb and external hd to view content


Also I have been using an xbox 360 and connect 360 with my Mac G4 (also Have rivet)

is it posible to connect to the Mac G4 in anyway 

Netgear Router (wireless)

Pc and Mac connected wired

I also Have a belkin network hub connected - for printing

I know I have a PC but I am now an ex PC user after 20 years and would prefer To get It working with the mac

Quite a long first post - lets hope you can advise

Ok Just solved issue 2 using EyeConnect

Thats Good

Just The firmware HDMI issue left

Unfortunately I am not familiar with the UK firmware as we are located in the US and support US firmware issue, however if you are having HDMI issue if it is listed as a fix in the firmware release notes I would recommend updating to the latest.

I looked at UK DLINK ftp site and it has more support documents than US for sure!!

Hi, Can You point me to any release notes on the 1.08 firmware

I don't want to go up as you cant go down if its not going to do some good

on the second question about media servers  any one have any ideas for a Mac which is best
