wait a minute. you said you have cable directly from your wall to your router. That's impossible since the router is not a modem. Where is your modem?
I have no modem.

I have only one problem, and it is:

Youtube videos load very slow, and sometimes they stop loading half way, this is extremely frustrating.

I beg you, please help me...   :'( :'( :'(

Well, there has to be a modem somewhere in order to contact the ISP. If your place is equiped with ethernet jacks then there is a modem located somewhere else, and most likely more devices sharing that connection. Plug the ethernet cable into one of the lan ports instead of the WAN port and see if that has any affect.

But the router must have a cable into wan port to make internet work? Or am i wrong, because I have no modem.

Your computer should be connnected to the LAN port and the modem is connected to the WAN port.

Look at this Diagram.

Hi Nina-Sky,

You-Tube monitors the IP Addresses that connects to it. Your Cable Server assigns you an IP Address for your Cable Modem, not the Router. The Router gets your IP Address from the Cable Modem.

The Router doesn't have a cable into the wan port. The Router has a Ethernet Wire that plugs into the Wan Port of the Router from the Cable Modem, itself, not from the Wall.

You are missing a proper Cable Modem. That's why You-Tube loads very slow.

I suggest you contact your Cable Provider and have a Cable Technician come out and check your setup and test your connectivity.

Hi Nina-Sky,

Do you have an IP Address, other than the numbers assigned by the D-Link Router, which are in the 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.0.255?

After signing into your Router's Settings, see your IP Address under WAN.

Your MAC is probably registered. So changing device = changing MAC. And that one isn't registered (yet, depending on the release time).

Hi Nina-Sky,

First of all, you aren't very forth coming with information. You stated that you have an IP Address, but haven't post it.

You never mentioned your Computer or its operating system.

Do you have more than one computer?

Are you having the same problem on all computers?
