Can I share files from NAS (DNS-323, v.1.08 firmware) via HTTP?

At the present time - NO.

One of the earlier firmware versions did have what appeared to be a security hole, but was in fact a "hook" for such an implementation, and at that time there was some talk of it being introduced as a feature in a later firmware, but that hole has since been closed and as far as I can tell, there are no intentions of offering this.
