I went through this same issue a while back http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=33e8d18ab818d546d3b35fd0ff1d08e2&topic=6437.0
It never got fixed 100% but there are some things I did:
Disconnect ALL but 1 video output (I had HDMI and Component out hooked up, I've sinced removed the component cables) This seems to have helped.
Power off the unit when done watching TV. Now when I'm leaving the room, I hit the power-off on the remote instead of leaving the unit running.
Not sure why at all, but it seems both of those things dramatically reduced how often my 750 would "loose" its settings. I know neither of those things make any logical sense, but it worked for me.
Also, just FYI - I don't use wireless, I use ethernet, and I removed the antennae from the unit to lower the chances of any other wireless devices in the house causing any interference.
Seems these 750 buggers are very sensitive, and it doesn't take much to upset them, but when they work they are great!

Good luck!
