Can't see the add-on tab in The applications section any more

I've the 1.08 firmware installed. This is what I did:
1- Install the bittorrent addon
2- Start the bittorrent addon
3- Use it and see it to work awfully
4- Shut down the bittorrent
5- Try via the easysearch utility to install the old bittorrent client that worked very well

After the point 4 I completely forgot to remove the bittorrent addon as someone in this forum has written. Now I can't see the old bittorrent tab, I even tried reinstalling 2 addons (bittorrent and firefly) and reloading the 1.08 firmware but no way to make the addon tab or the bittorrent tab to appear.
Is there anyone that can give me an hint on how to sort out of this problem?
