I am very frustrated.
I now have a $120 paperweight.

I purchased 3 DCS-910 cameras and 1 DCS-920
All were fairly simple to setup on my network.
The 910s seem to be ok with a few reboots needed.

The 920 wireless stopped working.
Works with the cat5 connected, no results on the site survey.
I read the limited information and posts.
I upgraded the firmware to latest.

If I wanted a wired camera, I would have bought another 910.

The site survey would not find my SSID broadcasts.
Tried resetting my routers and such but no joy.
No joy on a hard reset.
No joy on anything I try.
Now I get a short Red LED and short Green LED than nothing.



PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!!
I want my 6.5 hours back.
AND MY MONEY!

Please be sure to enable the wireless radio and Save Settings before clicking Site Survey. How is the unit bricked? Did this happen int he firmware upgrade process?

How is it bricked? The DCS-920 is a sad and fundamentally flawed camera brand new right out of the box.

If you are unhappy, then just bring it back to where you bought it and get a refund. Not a problem. I have no problems with the 920. It may be a bit limited, but does what it is meant to do...
