DAP-1522 to DIR-825 link speed

the dap-1522 fw 1.21 is in bridge mode
the dir-825 fw 2.01EU config :
2.4 Ghz disabled
5 Ghz, broadcast ssid, 802.1n only mode
channel width 20, when i change this to auto 20/40 and hit save, the setting is not saved. The status page says channel width auto. Bug ?

Why do i have this poor interconnection ? ;

There is one (hollow) floor between the 2 devices, and absolute distance is about 7 meters
